If you think you have found a bug in jMRUI, please report it in this forum so that we can try to fix it, but before reporting a bug check that

    • the bug has happened more than twice; and that
    • you are running the latest version of jMRUI. Otherwise, download and install the latest version and then test whether the bug has vanished.

Then, if the problem persists, report the bug and include any other information that could help us to fix the problem, for instance:

    • Report the jMRUI version and operating system, e.g. “jMRUI v. 5.0, Windows-7 32-bits”
    • Describe what you were doing when the bug happened.
    • Tell us if you can reproduce the problem in a consistent way.
    • Does the problem happen with all data or just with one type of files or only one of your files?

Last, sometimes it’s useful to attach a screen shot to illustrate the problem. For that purpose you can use one of many free tools available on the Internet, or the feature available in your operating system. For instance, in Microsoft Windows:

    1. Press [PrintScreen] to make a screen shot, then
    2. Open any image editor, e.g. Paint, and press [Ctrl]+[V] to paste the captured image.
    3. Save the image to a JPEG or PNG file, and
    4. Attach the new screen shot file to the message.
    5. Optionally, you can insert the attached image in the message body.
